Your path

Since the moment we are born we are traveling a path. Initially guided by our parents we quickly set out to discover our own course. However, during these explorations we often find it hard to get or accept guidance, and therefor prone to make the same mistakes as others. Wouldn’t life be easier if we would accept that others have made the same journey?

I believe that, as in science and society we, as individuals, are standing on the shoulders on giants. However, somehow most of us are held back on seeking out their knowledge or advice. Sure, the path we travel might be ours, but couldn’t we pave it with the wisdom from those who came before?

Why do we go through all this hardship only to find the same solutions?

Take chances to inform yourself on the experiences and views of others. Read about the horrors Victor Frankl endured and the knowledge he gained, talk to your parents, discuss with you friends. Learn and pave your own path.

Keep your eyes open, you will even find inspiration in fiction.
